When the walls are caving in, you've got to stop time...now.
It’s hard to ask someone for a valuable resource they’re already struggling with. That’s why I wrote this book. We all suffer from Time Scarcity. It sucks. Not enough time in the day to handle your to-do’s let alone your self care. It create stress, shortens our fuse, and drives us to always feel behind and overwhelmed. It makes us feel edgy, tired, cranky, fuzzy, and unhappy. It depletes us of the vital energy which makes life flow smoothly.
This book was written to help you stop the insanity. It’s all about moving into Time Prosperity and here’s the best part: I’m not asking you to take two weeks to read a long book to do it. You don’t have that time!
The Art of Stopping Time is a 100 day journey through your life where you read a simple 1-2 page chapter a day and apply the lesson right there and then. The time is passing by anyhow. I’m going to show you how to get some back here and there. I teach how to slow down and deeply relax but also delve into how to manage your time better and allocate it towards the things you value.
In short, this book is about helping you find where your time is leaking, shore it up, and return to a sane daily “burn rate” that’s sustainable and enjoyable. You’ll be more efficient, less stressed, and happier because of it. How do I know this? Because as a monk, doctor, and teacher, I’ve taught this to thousands of people and have seen the results. It works. Now it’s your turn.
The book is designed to be your companion. Take notes in it. Jot down ideas. Think about where you get stuck and work to instill better habits. At the end of the day, the way you feel is directly tied to the small habits and actions you’ve taken along the way. I’m going to help you find positive healthy swaps for things you’re already doing but perhaps not getting the best results with. I’m not taking any time or energy away from you…simply helping you see where you may want to take some back for yourself.
Over time, you’ll get better at living life. You’ll have more energy and enthusiasm available to you but there’s a catch: you have to participate and do the daily practices. This is your work and I can only guide you along. I can show you what’s worked for thousands of people I’ve helped, but, in the end, it’s on you to walk the path and live a better life. I know you’re ready because you’re already here.
